Each session is 50 minutes in duration and takes place via the Zoom videoconferencing platform. Please have an active, free account with Zoom™ and have the software installed and tested before your appointment begins. This way, every available minute is spent with you and not technical difficulties.

A portion of each session will be recorded and you will record or receive a copy of your session to download. In your first meeting, Patrick will evaluate your voice and speech and will tailor a Voice and Speech program that is right for you.
Accents are important because they identify where you come from, but become a problem when people can’t understand you. Accent work depends on your own goals. Whether you would like to learn the Standard American Accent, learn a new accent or dialect, or improve the clarity of your speech, Patrick can help you identify and remove those stumbling blocks to help you reach your goals.
The answer is different for everyone. If English is your first language, you CAN eliminate regional accents. At least 6-12 sessions are recommended. You will always feel and hear results immediately.
It varies for each person, depending on their goals. You will see, feel, and hear results in your first session. Ideally, a length of study should be at least 6-12 lessons to ensure optimal results.
Great question! Purchasing enrollment in an online course will give you immediate access to that course’s training. You may start your course at any time, leave and pick up where you left off at any time, and since the courses are not timed you may take as long as you like to proceed and complete the course.
Keep in mind:
Lessons in all Accent: American courses must be initially completed in the order presented.
As you complete each lesson, you may go back and revisit them in any order. But new lessons must be completed in-order the first time through.
After completing a course, all lessons are available to revisit in any order.
Be prepared… Each course contains many hours of voice & speech training. You’ll learn a great deal about the course subject in theory and in practice. It’s very similar to in-person coaching and should feel much like a private session with Patrick.

Visiting any of the Online Courses on this website will present you with an information tab titled, “Lesson Plan.” Each course has its’ own lesson plan which lists the title and duration of every lesson contained within.
Assessment courses allow you to receive a personal evaluation from Patrick on your starting point as well as your progress after completing your course.
All of Patrick’s online courses provide many hours of instruction. But for most students, personal feedback is a very valuable addition.
Choosing a course “with Assessment” adds the ability to upload a video or audio recording of yourself speaking a standard diagnostic selection of text.
After uploading your pre-course assessment, Patrick will be notified and he will review your recording. He then will provide direct feedback privately to you regarding what you should focus on during your course.
There will also be a post-course assessment so you & Patrick may evaluate your progress after completing the course. Again, feedback will be provided directly and privately to you right from the course’s assessment page.
No. Access to your purchased online courses will never expire.
Once you purchase a course it will be permanently available to you via your “My Account” page.

The overall course structure and its information is planned to remain unchanged in the future. But if a change or valuable improvement is made, currently enrolled students will never be required to pay again to access those changes.
If we make changes or updates to a course, they will be accessible to everyone automatically.
Assessments are quick and easy. You’ll upload a selfie video or audio file of you speaking Patrick’s standard diagnostic text and you’ll receive direct, private feedback & detailed notes regarding areas to focus on and some encouragement from Patrick, right within the course pages!
The deceivingly simple Pre-course Assessment phrases will give Patrick a precise understanding of areas you should focus on with greater emphasis.
Concluding with the Post-course Assessment phrases, you'll get new notes to compare and continue your improvement with focused notes based on your compared results.
After completing your Pre-course Assessment, you may begin the course immediately. Patrick will review your uploaded assignment (don't worry, it's easy) and reply with detailed notes for you to follow. This usually takes one or two business days.
